Here's 14 party pics taken at Marlene's Bit-A-Honey Bar (now gone) in Novato a long, long time ago, featuring a photo of Marlene and me before one of them started (don't remember which one), taken by someone I can't remember, probably using my camera, too--

I usually shot at least 35 x 36-shot rolls of film per party, so Marlene could fill the very popular albums that customers would peruse while they imbibed.

Let's see: 35 rolls per party X 36 shots per roll, X 3 parties a year X 10 years plus is maybe 50,000 photographs or more, so you could say we have just a bit-a-experience shooting party pics . . .

Marlene would put the prints in albums that customers could peruse and pilfer, and it was a very effective way to keep them sitting at the bar looking at pics sometimes for hours. while they bought drinks, chips and hot dogs.

But she kept the negatives and prints--I can only find twenty or so from all that work over all those years.
