I worked at Harbin Hot Springs from April, 2010, until May, 2012, as Computer Department Manager, and also cleaned pools. I had many great experiences, and some not so great, just like in real life.

However, Harbin Hot Springs was run by a different set of rules than those set down in employment law, and, in support of current and future Harbin residents and staff, I wrote and posted this blog in 2013.

"What's wrong with Harbin Hot Springs," was (is) my effort to address a culture that takes advantage of people while they work, and to warn new employees what to expect in "paradise."

Thanks to the many Harbin residents, former residents, and guests who helped me proof this for accuracy and right intention.
